We want to take you on an adventure.

Founded in 2023, we created ARTSQ to instill a lifelong love of art, archaeology, and history in everyone.

We’re not a massive institution. We’re not anonymous voices behind a wall of text. We’re not standing in a museum talking in hushed whispers.

We’re three women with PhDs and decades of experience in art history, history, and archaeology who believe that learning should be joyful, personal, and accessible to everyone. We choose our materials with care, we obsess over the details, and we design every resource to feel with purpose.

Our content is made to be accessible, whether you’re new to art history or already an expert.

Our story

We are also all parents, so we know how challenging it is to engage kids!

Developing close-looking skills with sketching.

Empowering kids to understand art with confidence.

A young boy in a blue and gray striped sweater stands in front of an art gallery wall with framed black and white and colored artworks, observing the pieces.
A young girl with long hair sitting on the wooden floor of an art museum, drawing on a sketchpad placed on an easel, with several large framed paintings hanging on a purple wall behind her.
Two young girls making silly faces in front of a framed painting of a woman in a museum. The painting has a sign with the name "Tiziano" and the title "La Maddalena." The background is ornate and decorated with gold accents and red wallpaper, and there is a fire extinguisher on the right side.
A young girl with brown hair covering her face, standing indoors near a display case, holding her head with both hands. She is wearing a gray t-shirt, a green purse with a cartoonish face, and pink jacket tied around her waist.

Museums can be tough spaces for kids.

We’re here to make art history more joyful, more personal, and more human.

A young girl in a bright green shirt, blue shorts, and a yellow hat stands on stone stairs in front of an ancient stone structure with a large triangular opening. She strikes a playful pose with one arm raised and a thumb up, enjoying the outdoor heat.
