Ancient Maya queen from Yaxchilán (704–51 CE)

Born into the royal line of the powerful ancient Maya city-state of Calakmul in 704. She was married to the ruler of Yaxchilán, Itzamnaaj B’alam III, otherwise known as Shield Jaguar. We learn about her from Stela 35 at Yaxchilán.
